Click on the images for a larger view! Directed by Dharmesh Darshan But you can't see so much of London either. At least one could have enjoyed that. Rather you have to make do with the faces of the old and worn out Suneil Shetty who as a Gujarati man Kunal romances Shirani (Amisha Patel). Shirani is the step-sister of Anu (Priyanka Chopra) whose parents played by Anupam Kher and Lillete Dubey is taking good care of. And it is then that Anu decides to return to London from Mumbai. And she gets along an escort Aman (Akshaye Khanna) who has been paid Oops, adding a problem is Aman's increasing affection and love for Anu which means a weird five way tangle…Aman loves Anu who loves Danny who has had a relationship with Shirani and wants her back and Shirani now loves Kunal and wants to marry him. Thankfully Aman does not marry Kunal….if that's how the polygon of relationships work and convinces Kunal to get back to his love while he too gets his love asking Danny to run away…. Oh, did we tell you the story… Sounds fresh huh? The film isn't. Priyanka needs to polish her act. Amisha Patel should get married and retire and stop fluttering her eyelashes. Dino Morea should attend acting classes and yes Sunil Shetty should try and play the role that Anupam Kher played. Anupam wasn't too bad, but he needs to stop playing idiotic characters, though one scene involving him towards the end helps you shed a tear before a silly song comes in the way. Bye Bye Himesh. You change your ways and get better or pack up. You have no choice. And Mr Dharmesh Darshan needs to revisit his writing days and get better screenwriters. Admittedly he had decent dialogue writers who have pepped up the film. So, if you want to see the film goes ahead. We have given this review - Aap Ki Khatir. . |
