Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s relationship has taken another step. Kareena is going to be a part of the Pataudi family’s yearly reunion in Saif’s ancestral village, Pataudi, in Haryana. This is a privilege that none of Saif’s women from his past relationships have had.

When contacted, Saif confirmed the news. He said, “Yes, Kareena has been invited to Pataudi this December. Our family gets together every winter. Since Kareena is now a part of our family and my parents are extremely fond of her, she has been invited.”

Ask Saif about Kareena and he’s unstoppable. He said, “This relationship is ‘IT’ for me. Today I feel very settled and happy. Though at times, I do feel a bit lonely when Kareena isn’t around. Of course, I do go through my share of bad days when I feel down. But overall, my life is going great guns.

I am now looking forward to settling down with Kareena. We’ll get married shortly. We are just waiting for our work load to lessen, so that we can give quality time to our marriage. Also, her family has to be ready for our marriage.”

Saif denied any unpleasantness with Kareena’s family. Talking about Kareena’s mom, Babita, he said, “We are very close. She has been very gracious in making me feel a part of her family. I have also met Dabboo uncle (Kareena’s father) a couple of times and shared a few drinks with him.

I am also pally with Kareena’s sister, Karisma (who I think is the sweetest girl in this world) and her husband, Sanjay. Kareena’s family has taken to me as warmly as my family has taken to her.”

Life is definitely looking up for Saif and he owes it to his health scare. He added, “My lifestyle has changed completely after the heart attack. Looking back, it’s hard to believe that I went through it. If it wasn’t for that life-changing experience,

I would not have been in a relationship with Kareena right now. My priorities in life have undergone a sea change. I no longer look forward to drinking or partying any more and I don’t even smoke.”x
