Meet QT, Priyanka Chopra’s love rival

RS has exclusively brought you pictures and details about this movie that is set 42 years in the future, what with the first look of a sci-fi Mumbai, and then the red haired Priyanka Chopra. Today we can sensationally reveal, that apart from the film featuring Priyanka Chopra and new kid Harmen Baweja, there will be a third star… a lovable female robot.

Named QT (Quintessential Terrestrial), this sweet machine will be sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra and vie for the attentions of main hero Harman Baweja. QT will be part of the first half of the film and even have a song and dance filmed with her in it.

QT has been designed by Oscar-winning special effects creator John Cox, who has previously worked on hit films Babe, Scooby-Doo, Peter Pan and others. “What we wanted was a robot designed to look like an Indian woman, hence the kohl-lined eyes and eyebrows,” director Harman says. “Even though the face is quite static, she can actually emote by twitching her nose, blinking and even raising eyebrows. She’s quite feminine and even introduces herself as QT with a reference to ‘cutie’,” he adds. “She has a full-fledged character and a role to play.”
