Subhash directed Yuvraaj targets October release

Subhash Ghai’s next film- Yuvraaj, just finished a 10 day schedule, after which the film is now 75 per cent complete.

Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan and Katrina finished the schedule at a huge set in Panvel.

The film, produced by Mukta Arts Entertainment, is set to release by October 2008. The next schedule of 15 days is 18 April onwards, while the principal shooting will be over by July 2008.

Ghai said, “It was great fun at Panvel shooting with these actors, who were full of excitement. Salman was also a perfect host by inviting us to his Panvel farmhouse. All the actors gave their best shot for Yuvraaj as they look at it as a mainstream musical drama with music by maestro A R Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar.”

The film stars Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Zayed Khan, Katrina Kaif and Boman Irani in the lead roles and has been shot in various parts of Europe and Mumbai.

Yuvraaj’s script has been written by Ghai and sharing the screenplay with him is Sachin Bhowmick (Krishh) and Kamlesh Pandey (Rang De Basanti). Kabir Lall is the cinematographer while the production design is being done by Omung Kumar.
