Television babe Shweta bags role in Naaginn

One of Ekta Kapoor’s finest finds, Kasautii Zindagi Kay actress Shweta Tiwari will be getting to play a Snake in Aruna Irani’s Naaginn.

In the thrice-weekly show, Shweta will be seen playing a negative role, Queen Surmaya of Trikund Lok. A source from the production unit discloses, “Shweta’s character is that of a haughty and arrogant queen who has a dance competition with Shayantani Ghosh aka Amrita.”

The actress sensationally quit the Balaji serial late last year and this would be her first starring role since. Soon after Shweta announced that she would be leaving the serial, Balaji also decided to bring the long running serial to a close.
