This may not be general knowledge, but the action flick 8×10 will see actor Akshay Kumar play a superhero who can read minds.

When contacted, Shailendra Singh, Jt Managing Director, Percept Holdings says, “Yes, it is true that Akshay Kumar is playing a superhero in 8×10. In the film, he can read the minds of people and has special powers and the ability to solve extraordinary problems hence he is a psychological superhero. I can’t divulge anything more as that would be like revealing the plot of the film.” Sharmila Tagore and Ayesha Thakia co-star with Akshay in the film, which is being directed by Nagesh Kukonoor.
This will be the first time that Akshay will be seen in a supernatural avatar, and comes on the back of numerous back to back comedy hits which have seen the actor’s profile rise unanimously.
