Aishwarya in Amar Akbar Anthony remake?
The Bollywood remake of Amar Akbar Anthony has still to hit the floors, but that hasn’t stopped a certain Mr. Katohara from making his own version.
US based Manan Singh Katohara, who had earlier made the film When Kiran Met Karen, is to spook the classic 70s three-brother flick for an English audience. Titled Amar Ash Anthony, the film will see Akbar’s character being replaced by a hot athletic mother called Aishwarya. It will also see Amar as an underworld hacker and Anthony as a FBI officer whose surname is Hopkins. The film’s other characters are Raj Aryan Tokushima and fellow FBI officer Salma Hayek. Actors from the Manan Katohara camp like Vidur Kapur, Tushar Unadkat, Dan Nainan, Sharbari Z Ahmed and Shivani Jorawar form the cast of the film.
The David Dhawan directed Bollywood remake will star the Khan brothers, Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz. But this film may not be made until 2010 as all three actors are busy with other projects.
