Former Aditya Chopra favourites Jatin and Lalit have been ignored and fellow musician duo Salim and Sulaiman have been signed… for the music of what could become the biggest hit of 2008… Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Salim and Sulaiman were critically praised for their music of Chak De! India, and it is because of that very film, that they have been signed on for this. Salim Merchant confirms, “We are composing the music for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. We are very excited about the project, and hope to do our best. I know the story but I can barely tell you anything. Once ready, they (Yash Raj) will announce the film on a very grand scale.”

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will be directed by Aditya Chopra and star Shah Rukh Khan opposite a news face. The film will go on the floors in the coming months, for a year-end release.
