So of veteran Television actor Pankaj Dheer, the 6′4″ tall Nikitin Dheer is not happy with director Ashutosh Gowarikar.

He has blasted the Jodhaa Akbar director in newspaper interviews for not promoting his pivotal role in the Hrithik Roshan starrer. He says, “I’ve been waiting for four years to prove my caliber as an actor. I rejected several offers for Jodhaa Akbar because Ashutosh sounded so genuinely interested in my career. But now I’m struggling to inform the film industry that I’m a part of the magnum opus too. My day will come, whether Ashutosh has done me right or wrong. I’m here to stay.”

Nikitin plays the main villain in the costume epic, Mirza Sarifuddin Husain, Akbar’s brother-in-law.
