Govinda turns down film because of Salman
Newly resurged actor Govinda has asked for a sky-high price just to avoid working with Viveik Oberoi.
Tusshar Hiranandani, who co-wrote Masti and Sunday, has decided to become a director and his good friend Vivek has offered to work for him for free. But, Tusshar requires a main lead to pull in the audience at the box office. He first approached Anil Kapoor, but Anil didn’t have the dates, so then he asked Viveik to contact Govinda.
Viveik did exactly this, and managed to arrange a meeting between the three, where Govinda asked for a fee that the director just couldn’t afford.
What could be Govinda’s reasons behind this… well simple… he doesn’t want to offend his good friend Salman Khan. For Salman is the person who has managed to bring Govinda back to the top-flight in Bollywood. And we all are aware of Salman Khan getting ditched by Aishwarya Rai for Viveik Oberoi.
What are your thoughts on this… do you think that Govinda is doing the right thing turning down good roles because of loyalty to Salman Khan? Or should he think of his career before any friendship with anyone? We would love to hear from you… please use the comments section below to send us your views.
