Smriti to produce comedy film with UTV

Television’s leading lady Smriti Irani is all set to step into Bollywood by producing a film this year.

The former Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Ti actress will collaborate with UTV for a comedy that will be released towards the end of this year. The script has been written by Kamlesh Pandey, who wrote Rang De Basanti. Currently, the search is on for two leading males and one female.

Talking about this, Smriti says, “I am eyeing Bollywood as a producer and I may launch a film this year itself.”
