TV director says he is not a pervert

We told you a few days ago that Television actress Shilpa Shinde had accused her director of being a pervert, and now we can bring you his side of the story.

Rajesh Gupta, the man in question, called up an Indian daily and claimed that he has never interacted with Shinde outside of the studio. “Shilpa and I have both been employed by the production house. We have never had a personal relationship,” he stated. The director then went onto say that he has been in the field for over 20 years, and during this time has worked with many top name directors. He says, “You think if I was a pervert, any of the producers would have repeated me?”

In retaliation to these comments Shilpa says, “Yes, he’s very diplomatic and doesn’t talk to me much on the sets. But that’s because I don’t give him any bhaav. If I could, I’d go right now to his house and slap him.” Shilpa works with Rajesh on the serial Hari Mirch Laal Mirch but is more famous for her part in the sister-serial Maayka.
