Amrita Rao turned down Raaz 2

We all now know that Kangana Ranaut is to headline Raaz 2, but what were the reasons for first Bhatt choice Amrita Rao turning down the role? Let’s find out…

Director Mohit Suri was adamant on casting Amrita Rao for the role in the scary sequel. Suri had shown Amrita the script and she agreed to do it. But a few days later she rang Mohit and said NO! Talking about this decision, Amrita reveals, “I did hear the subject and liked it too. The screenplay is very taut and gripping but I didn’t have the dates for them.”

Mohit will begin shooting for the film this month while Amrita is busy working with Anil Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna, and Arshad Warsi on ShortKut, after which she will start on Victory.
