Akshay Kumar turns back to action films this year
The seasoned Khiladi at the box office, Akshay Kumar was once known as the stunt-action hero of Bollywood, before he turned to lighter and romantic roles fours years back.
Akshay Kumar’s comic avatar has been much appreciated by one and all. He resurrected his fading career with a series of comedy films starting from Priyadarshan’s Hera Pheri. And there was no looking back for Akki.
Last year he delievered a mammoth number of four back-to-back hits in the form of Namastey London, Heyy Babyy, Bhool bhulaiya and Welcome. But this year there is a shift of genre for this mega star.
Akshay will now star in four consecutive action films this year. The films include Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakht Ishq, Rohan Sippy’s Chandi Chowk to China, Vipul Shah’s Singh is King and Yash Chopra’s Tashan.
