After delivering four hits in a row last year, the newly acclaimed ‘Hindi Film Hit Machine’ Akshay Kumar is now charging a whopping amount of 22 crores for a single film.

The actor who is not rated as high as the King Khan or Big B in the industry, has certainly been one of the most frequent and constant money machine for his producers. The man who jumped scales, from action to romance to comedy, has been delivering hits after hits.

Last year, our Khiladi-turned-comedian acted in hit films like Namastey London, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiya and Welcome. Because of his dependable quality and success at the box office, Akshay Kumar has decided to hike his rates.

The Akshay Kumar films expected to the screens this year include Singh is King and Chandni Chowk to China.

So, for the highest paid actor in Bollywood or rather the Indian cinema, isn’t wifey Twinkle Khanna proving all so lucky. Hmmmm…chooooo chweeeet!
