Sushmita Sen wants a partner for her directorial debut

Sushmita Sen’s closely held project, Rani Lakshmi Bai, marks the directorial debut of this princess of sorts. The graceful actress has been known in and around the filmdom as one of the most efficient, hard-working and elegant professionals. But her directorial debut seems to be of major concern for her of late.

Allegedly, she has been seeking assistance from directors of the likes of Sanjay Gadhvi, Anurag Kashyap et al for the research, pre-production toil for the film. It has been reported that she is also looking around for directorial assistance as she is apprehensive of her first film.

Sushmita Sen, who debuted in Bollywood with Dastak years back, is all set to don the director’s cap and also play the lead role in Rani Lakshmi Bai. Meanwhile, the lady is also busy hunting for a befitting young actress for the 14-yr old version of Rani Lakshmi Bai for the initial part of the film. Phew! Now, that is a lot of work for the preoccupied damsel. What say!!
