Jodha Akbar’s release postponed (again) to Feb 15th

First it was October then December then January and now it is FEbuary. The much-delayed film by Ashutosh Gowarikar has officially been announced to release on 15th Febuary instead of the scheduled 25th January. The reason being Ashuji’s back injury which postponed the release by another fortnight.

The film, now scheduled to release on 15th Feb, has now grabbed the magic date of 15 Feb which is near to the romantic occasion of Valentine’s day. The day is also referred to by some historians as the day when Rajput princess Jodha got married to Mughal emperor Akbar the great.

Ashutosh Gowarikar is now heavilg counting on the anticipation already built up by the enthralling promos and Rehman’s soulful music. ANd now, Valentine’s day will further boost up the opening collection. But… the delay is also there to be counted!!
