Flashback 2007: Domestic Box Office Report

February

February proved to be a dull month in terms of the revenue collections of the films which released this month. Films like Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Eklavya, Undertrial and Anurag Kashyap’s Black Friday got a poor response at the box office, though the films were critically acclaimed for the performances and execution of the filmmakers.

The month had some of the average to above average releases in the form of Traffic Signal and the comic Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.

The film of the month easily goes to Eklavya which earned a meager Rs. 19.25 crores considering its big budget production. But the film is one of the finest works of Indian cinema with due credit to the filmmaker, Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
