Taj Mahal: Surprise screening at Dubai film fest

One of the most expensive films made in India, fell miserably flat at the box office, but director Akbar Khan finally has something to cheer about his 700 million goof-up. Taj Mahal- an eternal love story will be screened at this year’s Dubai Film fest.

The film starring Pooja Batra, Kabir Bedi, Yukta Mukhey Zulfi Seyed and Noor Jahan’s grand-daughter, will be screened in the ”Historical Spectacular Classic” in the Director’s Cut section. The film has been selected as an effort to showcase the multi-cultural and multi-ethical life of Dubai and to bring about a discussion on this in the fest.

The film will be screened on the 11th of his month in the prestigious film festival which is being held from December 9th to 16th.
