Leave your thinking cap in the closest this Diwali, when you visit the theatres for this latest SRK release. No, and thank God, it’s not a ‘preaching’ film and yes, not mindless too. The film sure has it’s weak points but all in all, it makes your Diwali really happy in the end!

The film, with all the pre-release hype and merchandising managed to get crowds pulling into the theatres all across the county and the film once started rolling, got me laughing and chuckling at the witty SRK and awe-struck at the beautiful debutant, Deepika Padukone.
Om Shanti Om is clearly a better film in terms of direction, editing, scripting and cinematography than Farah Khan’s debut venture Main Hoon Na. Despite that the film lacked the intellectual pinch for the likes of the reviewer in me.
