Now ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ may have a sequel

The latest buzz doing the rounds is that the Farhan Akhtar hit film starring the three friends played by Aamir Khan, AKshay Khanna and Saif Ali Khan; may well get a sequel in the next year. Reportedly, the sequel to the film is underway and official announcement is still awaited.

The sequel will tentatively star Arjun Rampal, Farhan Akhtar, Purab Kohli and Luke Kenny in the lead roles and is expected to take off from where Dil Chahta hai Had left.

According to our sources, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani will jointly produce the film and it will directed by Abhishek Kapoor, director of the film ‘Arayn’. It is said that Abhishek Kapoor has already been signed to director this sequel.
