Madhur Bhandarkar’s Traffic Signal for 3 film festivals next month

Madhur Bhandarkar’s last release, Traffic Signal was not a major success at the box office but the film sure brought a sensitive and over-looked issue to the forefront. Traffic Signal is now getting its due credit for its effort at real and meaningful cinema.

Traffic Signal has been invited for not one but three prestigious film festivals being held in India. The three festivals are: South Asian film festival (New Delhi), Third Eye film festival 2007 (Mumbai) and the 5th Asian film festival (Mumbai).

Traffic Signal has been critically acclaimed by the Asian media for the sensitivity of the subject dealt in the film. Madhur Bhandarkar also inaugrated the Third Eye Film Festival for Asian cinema in Mumbai.
