Movie Preview: Om Shanti Om (2007)

The story is about two people who are completely different from each other but are destined to be one. Shah Rukh Khan plays a junior artist of the 70’s and wants to make it big some day in the film industry. Whereas, Deepika Padukone plays a superstar of the 70’s, who was the junio artist’s biggest inspiration.

The junior artist was completely smitten by this actress and loved her with all his heart, even though she was engaged to a foxy man played by Arjun Rampal.

Shanti (Deepika) felt betrayed in love and wanted to leave the glamor world for the sake of true love and OM (Shah Rukh) could give up his ambitions for the sake of his love for Shanti.

But destined planned otherwise and Om and Shanti had to wait for another lifetime to get together and rekindle their love flame.

The story transcends from the 70’s to the late 90’s and 2000’s in the next half, where Om and Shanti are destined to meet in their respective re-incarnations.
