UTV to sell Jodha Akbar globally for 80 Crores

UTV is big, so are the films being marketed by the corporate giant in domestic and overseas market. The latest news from the camp is that Jodha Akbar is planning to sell Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ambitious venture ‘Jodha Akbar’ for a jaw-dropping 80 crores.

The idea behind this decision is to invest a hige sum of money in the promotion and distribution of the film worldwide which result in a greater crowd turnout in most parts of the world.

UTV is alsoplanning to sell the global distribution rights for Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome for again a whopping sum of 55 crores. Among the many giants eyeing the deal, Studio 18 is touted to be the closest runner for closing the deal with UTV.
