Abhishek Bachchan to play Lal Bihari Mritak

Wondering who is Lal Bihari Mritak. He is the man from UP who fought for 18 years with the authorities to be declared alive and knocked the doors of the courts, Parliament and ran from place to place to be undeclared as dead. By the end of it, he managed to get the prestigious Indira Gandhi peace award in 2003.

After names like Anil Kapoor, Pankaj Kapoor cropping up for the role of La l Bihari, Abhishek Bachchan was the director’s choice. For Satish Kaushik, the film is special and a learning experience.
