Saawariya has Salman playing a Muslim cleric

For the first time ever, Salman will be seen playing a muslim cleric in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited ‘Saawariya’.

The role is touted to be an important part of the film. Salman plays a hardcore muslim cleric with a curious media divided over the question of being a religious cleric only or also playing a muslim fanatic too.

The film which introduces Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor is a Hindu-Muslim love story and also has Rani Mukherjee playing a cameo of a courtesan.
