Early this year, we had the release of the controversial film ‘Black Friday’ by Anurag Kashyap which was based on the ‘92 serial blasts in Mumbai. Bollywood makes a brave attempt at bringing the cruel face of terrorism to the big screens again in the form of debutant director Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Wednesday’.

The film stars Bollywood stalwart Naseeruddin Shah in a never-before role that of the mastermind behind the bombing in the local trains in Mumbai on July 11th 2006. The film draws its title from the ill-fated day of the week when the bombings took place.

The film also stars Anupam Kher in the role of an investigating cop and promises to be a must-watch sighting the growing rate of terrorism in this part of the world too.
