Overseas B.O.: Heyy Babyy in UK Top 10

Sajid Khan can’t help but smile at his fortunes as Heyy Babyy got one of the best openings in the year in three major markets, UK, USA and Australia. The film raked in the highest opening figures along with the best screen averages and also became one of Akshay Kumar’s biggest openers in overseas market.

The extended 4-days weekend in UK due to bank holidays helped Heyy Babyy to become the second biggest opener of the year only behind Salaam-E-Ishq. Meanwhile, Chak De India and Gandhi My Father continued to their average run at the B.O.
• Heyy Babyy: The opening weekend has been beyond all expectations as the film debuted in UK top 10 at position no. 10. The film got the second highest screen average only behind Sivaji, working out to £ 6,039. the film has collected £ 289,893 [approx. Rs. 2.38 crores] on 48 screens.
• Chak De! India: One of King Khan’s weakest releases in recent times continues to do an average business at position no. 15 dropping down from last week’s position no. 12. In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 37,170. It is currently running on 30 screens across UK with total collections of £ 385,146 [approx. Rs. 3.17 crores].
• Gandhi My Father: This emotional period flick stays at its position no. 25. In its fourth weekend, the film has collected £ 8,179 with total collections of £ 125,805 [approx. Rs. 1.03 crores] and is currently running on 18 screens.
• Partner: This weekend, the film slipped from its last week’s position no. 23 to no. 35. and collected £ 3,954 on 5 screens. Total collections: £ 822,630 [approx. Rs. 6.77 crores].
• Buddha Mar Gaya: The film slips down from last week’s position no. 21 to 41 this week. In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 3,294 on 7 screens with total collections of £ 23,364 [approx. Rs. 19.20 lacs].
