Chopra’s book on SRK released in the US

Film journalist and author Anupama Chopra’s latest book King of Bollywood; Shah Rukh Khan & The Seductive World Of Indian Cinema was recently launched in the US on 9 August.
The launch was hosted by the Indo-American Arts’ Council and the South Asian Journalists’ Association and was attended by over 200 people. Chopra was accompanied by her husband filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Others who graced the event included Eros Entertainment CEO Ken Naaz and Ener1 president Subhash Dhar.  
The author, whose first book Sholay; The Making Of A Classic won a National Award, writes about the seductive world of Indian cinema, its identity and one man’s struggle to become a star. The book traces Shah Rukh Khan’s journey through the quirky world of Bollywood, where dreams and obsessions share the spotlight with extortion, murder, and corruption. The book also reveals many lesser known facts about the actor.
