Hrithik Roshan declined role in ‘The Pink Panther 2′
Hrithik Roshan, known to be very picky about his roles, turned down an offer for the role of “Vicente” in MGM’s Untitled Pink Panther Project several weeks ago.
“After careful consideration, Hrithik decided to pass on the part,” his spokes person said.
“Hrithik is a huge fan of Steve Martin and hopes for future opportunities to work with Mr. Martin,” she added.
Hrithik is currently dubbing for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodha Akbar in which he plays Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Always striving for perfection, Hrithik has been working on his Urdu diction under the watchful eyes of his tutor Kamaal Ahmed.
Kamaal Ahmed, a native from Kanpur, is proud of his pupil.
“Hrithik is my favorite student as he is very hard-working and a perfectionist. He doesn’t give up till he gets the pronunciations perfect,” he says
Hrithik, who is well versed with FX techniques and technologies, is part of the team of writers scripting the Krrish sequel in which he plays the lead as the super hero.
Once he completes dubbing for Jodha Akbar he will join the team of script writers working on Krrish 2 fulltime.
Hrithik’s ethnicity neutral good looks, superb physique, dancing skills and good acting skills have made him a bankable star in Hollywood. He has featured in publications such as the Los Angeles Times and has the industry’s #1 trade journal - Hollywood Reporter.
