Jackie is an art teacher in Anubhav

No Jackie Shroff is not giving up his acting profession but is going to play the role of an art teacher in his forthcoming movie. He will don the character called Ibrahim Vakil who is a theatre guru in the movie Anubhav, which was recently in news for being appreciated at Osian Cinefan film festival.

Jackie who believes in experimenting with roles has added another feather to his cap with Anubhav. The film is based on the serious issue of male exploitation, which is rarely dealt in Indian cinema. And although it is a serious theme the film is basically about how love endures in all circumstances.

Jackie is all contended with his role in the movie as his philosophy about his acting has changed in recent times. Today he believes in doing meaningful character based roles, which add something to the movie, rather than singing and dancing around the trees.

Anubhav is being directed by National Award winning Keralaite director Rajeev Nath and is all set to release this August.
