Aroona Irani to act in Zee TV’s Maayka show

The legendary actress of Bollywood and Indian television, Aroona Irani, who has ruled over the Hindi celluloid for decades with her with authentic character roles and alluring item numbers, is geared up to step in Zee TV’s popular soap, ‘Maayka’. She will be playing the role of Durga Khurana.

Arrona Irani is the one who gave the new style to Indian soaps with her churned out plays like ‘Desh Mein Nikla Hoga Chand’, ‘Vaidehi’, ‘Mehndi Tere Naam Ki’ and ‘Rabba Ishq Na Hove’ and the likes. She has oomph and created an aura in the television industry. All the existing stars of Maayka are waiting to act with this legend.

Born in India, she comes from the Irani Zoroastrian background. Aroona Irani is the sister of coveted producer-director Indra Kumar and the wife of well-known filmmaker Kuku Kohli. She has acted in above 300 movies. Her debut film was ‘Gunga Jumna’.
