EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI

The steps are small but brave. The innovation is slow yet rising. This easily defines the current status of animation industry in Bollywood. Hum Tum opened the gates of merging animated characters with live characters, and the same went well with other films catering to child audience.

The story of My Friend Ganesha offers nothing new to the Indian audience who have already seen films made on similar themes. What seperates My Friend Ganesha is the inclusion of animated characters of Child Ganesha and his mouse which makes the film an interesting treat to watch.

The plot of My Friend Ganesha revolves around a family of four and maid. Aaditya is the father(Kiran Janjhani), Aarti is the mother (Sheetal Shah), Ashu is their 8-year-old son (Master Ahsaas Channa], Aditi is Aaditya’s sister (Aarya) and Gangutai is their maid (Upasana Singh).

Ashu is going through a phase where he feels lonely and is in need of company. The only company he gets is in the form of his maid, Gangutai.
