Bombay To Goa brings together the finest comedians of Indian television and film industry. Alas! The journey does not come close to a helluva ride, rather it is a horrendous galore of comic acts. The script is seamless and maintains its craft and posture through one liners and small time jokes.
Bombay To Goa is a film which highlights the presence of a lot of participants from ‘The Great Indian Comedy Show’. Directed by Raj Pendurkar, the film boasts of an ensemble cast of comedians like Sunil Pal, Raju Shrivastava, Ehsaan Qureshi, Tinu Anand, Vijay Raaz, Naveen Prabhakar, Rauf Lala, Asrani, Jagdeep and Paintal among others.
The plot of Bombay to Goa revolves around Lal (Sunil Pal) and Das (Vijay Raaz). Lal dreams of starting a business of his own. He is determined to become rich in life. Das boasts of a work experience as a BEST (bus) driver. He is ruthless and arrogant. He left his job as he got irritated by his boss’s behaviour.
Luck smiles on Lal and he wins an amount of Rs. 2 lakhs in a contest. Das and Lal start dreaming of doubling and tripling the amount. A suggestion comes from Das as to start a travel agency but the duo soon realizes that 2 lakhs are not enough to even buy a Maruti Car, leave about getting a bus.
