ZEE TV increases original programming output
To avoid any sort of viewer fatigue setting in, ZEE TV is constantly reviewing its programming with the launch of many new shows in the last few months and July is no different.
Come Monday 16th July, ZEE TV will unleash its latest phase to cut down on repeat programming and increase its original shows.
First up, the launch of ‘Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai’, which is a story of Jhanvi- an orphan by birth. Her only desire is to get married in a happy joint family. Nurtured by her tauji and taiji, Jhanvi hopes that one day she will walk in a house that is full of warmth and love just the way she has been brought up.
The drama launches on Monday 16th July (Monday 2nd July in India). It will be taking over the 22:30 timeband, which was recently occupied by ‘Teen Bahuraniyan’. The latter is being shifted to the 19:30 slot on the same day, which was previously allocated to the demised ‘Jab Love Hua’.
Recently ZEE TV launched its all new ‘World Of Women’ slot between 11:00 and midday daily. The slot was created to bring in original content during the day. It currently features new drama ‘Meri Doli Tere Angna’ at 11:00, followed by ‘Khana Khazana’. This will be replaced with a repeat telecast of ‘Maayka’ in July.
With original programming getting a boost and the female centric shows taken care of, ZEE TV’s next move is to launch a children’s hour. From Monday 16th July, this too is being implemented with a new show called ‘Kidz Zone’. It will air between 17:00 and 18:00 in both English and Hindi every day.
The ‘Kidz Zone’ show will also result in tweaks during the weekend with the evening news bulletin airing at 18:30 as oppose to 17:30. On Saturdays, ‘Out and About’ will air at 18:00 and on Sundays, ‘ZEE & U’ will move back an hour to 18:00.
