The crowd were expecting it… but it didn’t happen. The media were not aware of it… so got a shock. IIFA organisers didn’t want it… but it happened! What are we talking about? We are talking about Salman Khan not coming to the IIFA ceremony with his girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
All seemed well the day before at the press conference for Partner… but Sunday night was a different day. Salman arrived on the green carpet with a ’stranger’, no one knew who this girl was… and he was flirting with her.
Katrina arrived on her own, looking sombre and down to earth. The sadness on her face told a thousand stories.
So what has happened here? Anyone the wiser?

Why such shock and to do over a simple friendly gesture as escorting his costar’s daughter on the green carpet? Yes, that companion of Salman is Govinda’s daughter. Aren’t you guys supposed to be the Bollywood press? Why is it you could not make this simple identification? Or is it the case that you did identify her, but were reluctant to let facts get in the way of a good gossip item?
