Arjun, Upen, and Amitabh get insulted at IIFA

And here are some extra bits… that you wont get to read in the papers and websites… (apart from RS)…

Arjun Rampal tried to talk about global warming… giving advice to the audience… telling them put things on stand by, turn of lights… then someone in the crowd shouted “Maybe we should just stop watching your gay movies and save a planet instead”. After that he shut up.

Upen Patel came and said Wazzzzzzzuuuup Yorkshire…… and got a response… “Go f**k back to your own side of the country” - A reference to where he is from, he aint a Yorkshireman.

The news from the grapevine is… that Salman had a big bust up with Katrina Saturday night at the hotel. He threw her out. Poor girl was in tears. And today Salman was still in a defiant mood and appeared on the green carpet with a new girl. He didn’t even sit next to Katrina.

Amitabh got boos and his face turned red… when he presented an award in the category in which Shah Rukh Khan was nominated. Shah Rukh Khan fans made their presence felt.

Dharmendra got the Lifetime Achievement award, his sons were crying, and when Dharmendra said his Mother was from Pakistan, the crowd went wild… 90% of the crowd were of Pakistani origin. He also said Bradford, Sheffield are good… but Leeds is the best.

Karan Johar picked up the Best Actress award on behalf of Rani Mukherji, and made a statement that next year he would win the Best Actress gong.

And finally, what brought the house down….. Shilpa Shetty’s wicked one-liner - “East or West… Yorkshire is the Best”.
