The oomph queen is the original muse of Ramu whose career was mutually triggered off with hers after the success of ‘Rangeela’. Earlier, Urmila had worked with Ramu in many of his hit Telegu films down south.

Urmila’s first Hindi film with Ramu was Drohi and then she went on to do more films with him including ‘Satya’, the masterpiece from Varma. Urmila acted in some of the unsuccessful and some memorable films for Ramu like Daud, Kaun, Jungle, Bhoot, Pyar Tune Kya Kiya and Ek Haseena Thi.

Of late, Urmila has been side-lined by Ramu’s other muses with the demanding Nisha Kothari topping his priority list as of now.
