Shah Rukh’s father in Om Shanti Om is Jawed Sheikh

Popular Pakistani actor Jawed Sheikh, who was recently seen playing Upen Patel’s father in Namastey London, will be playing the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s father in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om.

Farah was amazed by the actor’s small role in Jaan-E-Mann and offered him the pivotal role in her film there and then.

It has been reported that Jawed will be father to Shah Rukh Khan’s character OM in the present day. His character will also be seen in flashback scenes, set in the 1970s, where he plays the ‘Rajesh Khanna’ superstar of that era.

The film will see Shah Rukh Khan in a reincarnation role for the second time, after the successfull Karan Arjun.
