Answer: Yes, it is true to an extent. Zee have approached Bachchan for a game show but Bachchan is asking them to take on son Abhishek as host instead. This new game-show, which has been devised by Endemol, will be part of the launch of new Zee channel Zee Next. The channel is expected to begin broadcasting sometime next year. Both Zee and Amitabh want to get one over rivals Star and Shah Rukh Khan. Amitabh was dropped by Star for Kaun Banega Crorepati in favour of Shah Rukh Khan. Amitabh has told Zee that in return for letting Abhishek host the game-show, he himself will host another two shows for them. Zee are happy with the deal, and are working on devising an additional two shows for Amitabh.

Amitabh Bachchan is pi**ed of that Abhishek Bachchan has been dumped by Aditya Chopra for Dhoom 3, so he has put in motion two plans, to make sure the Bachchans reign supreme in this Bollywood battle also. Plan 1: Not wanting to let Shah Rukh Khan get one over them (as you all know by now that Shah Rukh is being lined up for the bad guy role in Dhoom 3), Amitabh Bachchan has approached Aditya and has asked him to sign him up instead. Yes, you got it. Amitabh Bachchan wants to play the baddie in Dhoom 3. He says he is young and able enough to do the role that Shah Rukh Khan is intending to do, and that his age should be no barrier for the stunts. Aditya is not happy, as he wants Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan in the film and not Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. He feels the film would be more like Sarkar and the soon to be released Sholay remake. It is hard to turn down Bachchan; Aditya has a hard job on his hands. Plan 2: If Aditya decides not to sign up Amitabh for Dhoom 3, then Amitabh Bachchan will produce a film under his own production company for Abhishek. A film similar to the Dhoom films in style and plot. ABCL are even considering approaching Dhoom 1 and 2 director Sanjay Gadhvi for the director’s chair.
