I am a NRI living in Harrow, London. Most of the NRI’s are extremely upset with Shilpa Shetty! We all here sympathised with her so much whilst she was a victim of bullying and racism in the Big Brother House and so many complaints went to Offcom & even it got escalated to the Houses of Parliaments! When Shilpa Shetty came out of the Big Brother House she was deliberately not shown any news footage about the whole incident because Channel4 had already bought her out, as the other contestants had been shown about the relevant news flashes and clips worldwide but not Shilpa! Shilpa Shetty has been bought by Channel4 / EndeMol productions because why she is in denial – it was 100% racism! Channel4 did not release a certain footage including a song stating this house was happy until this PAKI came in. The police are investigating this also now. I do understand that maybe because she is an Indian from India she has not been exposed to racism in such manner ever before, but you can ask any NRI residing in UK who will also tell you that it is a racist term to call any Asian a PAKI here! It does not mean that Paki is that you belong to Pakistan but instead it is used as an offending work to all/any Asians living in UK. It is equivalent to calling blacks NIGGERS.

Minster of Culture Affairs had said that she wants to end Big Brother full stop on Channel4. After hearing this of course Channel4 did everything to protect their programme and they were afraid that if Shilpa also admits to racism then this will mean trouble for Channel4, so therefore they had bought Shilpa out!!! Disgusting of Shilpa to accept this offer, as on one hand she says she is a very dignified person and now it is just so clear that she was for sale!

We are were really happy at first that she won and we all had hoped that once she comes out of the house and after reviewing all the relevant footage she will definitely take a strong step forward to stop racism and blame the people who are doing this to her. Instead she acts like a weak person and she has become a disgrace for all the Asians here. She made big headlines here & across the globe regarding racism & bullying and due to her denial and poor behaviour we feel that anyone can call us PAKI here and it should be ok. Sorry, but not everyone is a SHILPA here, if she was so ignorant then she should have just shut her mouth and return to India but instead she said in all interviews that it was not racism! She has not only let all the NRI’s downs but also all our freedom fighters such as Ghandi, Bhagat Singh, Udam Singh.

I know she was a flop actress in Bollywood anyways, and truly hope she remains this, as how could she do this to all Indians! If she was clever she could have done so much with this golden opportunity at the moment but instead she made the wrong move again. She never was capable to manage her film career and now this also proves how dumb she really is. Shame on her!

NRI’s are so furious and upset with her at present & NO, (as she said) she did not represent India and our culture on Big Brother, as Indians are a strong nation and not weak, weak, weak as she is. She should call herself never ever an Indian anymore!
