ZEE Network acquires Mukta Arts film library



ZEE Network has clinched a mega deal to telecast movies from Bollywood director/producer Subhash Ghai’s film banner - Mukta Arts.

According to ZEE Network UK officials, both ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema will begin screening the films from March onwards. It has not yet been confirmed if the films will be telecast in a season or individually.

Mukta Arts has been around for more than 28 years. Mukta Arts is one of the most reputed companies in the Indian entertainment industry and has pioneered many firsts, which has been a benchmark for other companies in this sector.

Mukta Arts repertoire of movies include: Karz, Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Saaudagar, Khal Nayak, Pardes, Taal, Yaadein, Jogger’s Park, Aitraaz, Iqbal, 36 China Town, Shaadi Se Pehle and Apna Sapna Money Money.

The film library was previously occupied by Sony Entertainment Television Asia.
