‘Munna Bhai Chale Amrika’: The third sequel

For a nation which highly appreciated the Jaadu Ki Jhappi and Ghandigiri formulae, the third sequel is a much-anticipated film by both the masses as well as the classes. The third sequel in the Munna Bhai sequel is surely going to be a ‘hatke’ film as it will be extensively shot in the United States of America as Munna Bhai Chale Amrika with his sidekick Circuit.

The magical duo of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will be seen again in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next Munna Bhai sequel tentatively titled “Munna Bhai Chale Amrika”, to be directed again by Rajkumar Hirani. Recently, a teaser for the film was shot by the cast and crew of the series though the script for the film is yet to be finalised.

Says actor, Sanjay Dutt, “It’s just a concept, we have to script it. But for sure we are going to America. There can be many things that can happen - during immigration, on the streets. I don’t know what Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) is going to write, but I bet it’ll be really good.” Adds director, Rajkumar Hirani, “They have an agenda, but I don’t want to reveal it. As of now they’re learning English to go to America.”

The shooting for the film will begin from October this year.
