Anupam Kher-Kukunoor fly kites for the underprivileged

Of late, Bollywood has made a lot of contribution in the social awareness and motivational work for many of the NGOs in Mumbai. After the Mumbai Marathon, it was the occasion of a Kite Flying festival organised by the Godrej Co. and many NGOs who took up the cause for the underprivileged through the work of the NGOs.

Industry stalwarts like Anupam Kher, Nagesh Kukunoor, Ashok Pandit and Sachin Pilgaonkar participated in the Genesis Film Project’s Kite Flying Festival. The kite flying festival threw light on the 101 NGOs working in Mumbai for the underprivileged people.

The stars participating in the Kite Flying festival as part of the Genesis Film Project, also agreed to judge the filmmaking contest for the NGOs next month.
