Adlabs & MTV join hands in film production
MTV always has something new and exciting in store for the younger generation of the country. This time, MTV Networks India has joined hands with Adlabs for film production for the youth. The films to be produced by them will be solely targeting the youth and will be exclusively based on their interests.
Both Adlabs and MTV are among the favourites for the youth of the nation. For MTV and Adlabs to join hands for producing films targeting the youth with young and youthful themes like humour will draw in more youth towards them.
According to Pooja Shetty, Director, Adlabs Films, “We are very enthusiastic about our tie-up with MTV as this will help us to specifically target the youth of the country – a segment that can appreciate new and unique genres of films and will set the trends for years to come. They are an extremely important audience for Adlabs.”
The rights of the films produced by them will rest partly with Adlabs and partly with MTV Networks India. The cast, director and script for the films will be jointly decided by them. Amit Jain, Managing Director – MTV Networks India, said, “We are excited to partner with Adlabs in this unprecedented initiative that is bound to change the paradigms of in-theatre youth entertainment”.
