A film with six stories, each having an effect with the other. Similar to Love Actually and Crash. All the stories are about relationships between a couple and all have meanings. Each expects to raise a subject and give a solution.

Aakhri Saans Tak (Till Death Do Us Apart)

Vinay (Anil Kapoor) and Seema (Juhi Chawla) are a happily married middle-aged couple with a couple of kids in tow. Theirs is the idealistic marriage that many desire. However, as with all good things, thorns afflict this beautiful bed of roses, and it takes a sacrifice or two to bring the family back together.

Vinay may have it all, the stunning wife, the fantastic job, and the loving children, but he becomes bored and desires more. Vinay meets Anjali (Anjana Sukhani) and in her he sees what he is missing. This extra-marital affair, as expected, causes problems in his marriage. But all is well if it ends well.

Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla are perfectly cast as the husband and wife, and even at a mature age as theirs, they have magical chemistry. Anil plays his part to the tether and is, at last in his career, showing that he is apt and ready for the character driven roles. Juhi Chawla’s performance as the mistreated wife is par excellence, and one wonders why this actress never achieved the stardom that she deserved during the peak of her career. Anjana Sukhani as the mistress is another perfectly cast part; an impressive debut, for an actress who may be overshadowed, in a multi-starrer such as this.

Nikhil Advani has tried his best to direct a mature story such as this, but his efforts prove fruitless, and the end job is only watch-able because of the performances from the actors. The story itself has been done numerous times in Bollywood and therefore has nothing new to offer.
