shahrukh tries hard. but it is almost impossible to be in same league as AB. if the show had been hosted by shahrukh noone would have complained, but to do something which was earlier done by that GREAT MAN is always a tough challenge and shahrukh stands nowhere in front of amitabh. he is way behind and will never be able to come aywhere close to BIG B.
Ive Seen The KBC Yesterday, n I Must Say That SRK Was Simply Awsome
He Was Funny n Stylish, n He Tried To Help The Contestants As Musch As He Could
I Really Liked It, n I Think He Got His Own Style, Really Different From BigB

I´m from Germany and the German version of KBC is very boring . therefore , I´m envious of indian. They have Srk as host. A charming host and great entertainer . Happy Indians !.Who is better : Srk or Amithji?What a stupit question!!You have Amitji and Srk , two great charakters . Be glad that you have both .
I saw KBC lastnight as well. It was more like a comedy act.
Where was the edge of the seat suspense??
I think it will start of well in ratings, but i cant imagine this to carry on till next month. I think people will get tired of SRK jokes and giggles and hugs.
The show lacked the gradeur and nail biting suspense that BIG B injected in the show.

the answer to me is ‘r u insane’.
so is the case with srk if i get the chance to see srk saying something on tv without any intermediate means i will watch it twice daily but kbc is only four day a week and thats only once in a day sooooo sad na.
SRK is FAR SUPERIOR than oldie Amitabh. He has given new life to KBC.
The king of bollywood really rocks! With his instant sense of humour and style, SRK edges out Amitabh Bachan. He eases out the pressure from the contenstants by creating a tension-free atmosphere. There is more versitality in the show with edge-of-the-seat suspense and humour. SRK is really a treat to watch in KBC3. He has once more proved that he is 100% entertainer and no one can match his popularity. It is no wonder that Star Plus shares have doubled with the SRK at the helm.
Well the verdict is out.
KBC has failed in viewership figures. EVery episode has been dropping. What does this prove???
This proves that SRK is just over-rated by the media. Audience is not stupid.
SRK tried to compete with the LEGEND but he forgot that this time round there was no yash chopra or Karan Johar to help him.
I knew this show was going to flop.

yes mr. rizwan the shwo is flop as it is ahead of all the shows on air currently did you know what was the drop of kbc it ws nearly from 9.5 on first day to 6 on second day and this is tam ratings whose ratings are not out yet so stop telling everybody wrong information

and a for kjo and yashchopra there was o one to help him in main hoon na and don but it succeded and where was this yahraj or kjo when kaal and kabul express,maujshe dosti karoge were flopping and as for media star currently bigb looks to be a medis star poor old fellow has to come everyday on tv and say my son is good
AS FOR THE ARTICEL YOU SHOWED IT WAS CLEAR THERE WAS THE india westindies match during that day soit was boudn to decrease but to say kbc3 beat the ,match in its time slot of 9:30 to 10:00 says all it had a trp rating of 3.6 while the match had of 3.2
No actor is anything more then a human being.. i dnt believe in labelling anyone ‘great’ just for acting… Do something real, like save a life, reduce poverty..
WHO cares about SRK Vs Amitabh.. they both have their own fans and both will yell that thier ‘hero’ is the best.. People waste too much energy in stupid discussions!!!
Im calling it a flop in comparison to Amitabhs KBC2. Which was bigger it had higher TRPs. Check them out urself. Forget KBC1 which changed TV in india.
KBC Opening Night Ratings Results: Khan loses to Bachchan

The results are in for the ballyhooed KBC faceoff billing the
last KBC with the new KBC. Atleast as far as opening draw is concerned,
Star TV’s multicrore extravaganza KBC3, hosted by Shahrukh Khan, has
lost out in the opening viewership comparision to Amitabh Bachchan anchored
KBC2, which launched 18 months ago in Summer of 2005.
As per the aMap overnight ratings, opening day of KBC3 earned a TRP of 5.3%,
garnering viewership of 6.3% in Mumbai, 2.5% in Delhi, 2% in Kolkata.
These are notable figures but they fade in comparision to KBC2’s
opening figures across the country from Aug-5-2005. The Amitabh Bachchan
version scored a 9.5 in Bombay, drawing 50% higher than KBC3 in the city,
160% higher in Delhi (6.5); and 170% higher viewership in Calcutta (5.4).
The national TAM (CS 4 + Yrs) figure for Bachchan’s KBC 2 was a
chartbusting 14.0.
Not many seem to realise that Shah Rukh has chosen to swim against the tidewith Kaun Banega Crorepati. There are many factors that do not auger well for the show.The format is identical to its earlier editions & the novelty of the contest is lost . As it, is the popularity of the later of who Wants To Be A Millionair? (on which KBC is based) has declined . The prime time of Indian television has become sustantially more competitive , & cricket matches being played presently are also axpected to cut into the KBC viewership .
and now to ratings
kbc2 was a weekend show and kbc3 is on weekdays .
the ratings given to kbc2 are tams ratings while for the kbc3 are amaps ratings the tam ratings will come out on friday 2 feb.
its better nto to compare amap and tams ratings as they are quite different.
also can you tell me the ratings of tv in 2005 and that in 2007 all the shows have a drop due to large number of channels (movies,sports,news) they have nearly doubled in 2years so comparing them is not at all good .
what is to compare here is kbc3 is at no.1 so its a hit.also it is increasing(doubling stars market share in the 9-10 circuit)
remember star had to do kbc3 as it was losing badly with the popular shows like saat phere and kassam se on zee so kbc3 had to get viewers from zee to star.
srks kbc is at a time star is on decline and so is tjhe format(thae ratings of all the shows of who wants to be millioanire in 90-100 countries are exiting as the novelty fatcor is lost) in this sense its doing great here.
and kbc3 was already a hit as star already made profit beofre launching it
well in 2000 the no. of channels were not even 1/4 of just now also the show had a novelty factor so if you hoped for the show to beat that ratings then please check yourself.
in 2005 the kyunki and kahanis were having 10-12 ratings but they are dropped now to 3.8 but then also its a top most show and gets best advertising as the whole market ahas doubled in 2years
simply boring new kbc with shahrukh . all pepole now sir amitabh bachchan father of bollywood . and srk acting very very bad same as his movies . lagay raho srk may god your help after 100 years.

SRK is JUST SUPERB. He has shown this with Elaan as DON and now as host in KBC3. As far as Amitabh is concerned, he is now old and should now retire from films.

You have made KBC 3 and entertainment program and not just a learning session. Hats off to you. Through this program i learn many new things . Hopr this main reaches you and if it reaches think of these suggestions.
1 Please give one health related message to the people every time u end the show . this is bec the field of Public health does not have that much amount of money to be spent on marketing health for the masses
2 Every time dont repeat at the end of the program that your wife is calling you and all think of come thing else

I just hope that this mail reaches you and if it reaches you, please look into these suggestions.
1 Please give one health related message to the people every time you end the show . You can ask people to make sure that they stop asking doctors for injections for remedy of their ailment and leave it to the dr for this decision because many diseases have cery efficient oral medicines and there is no need for injectables. This action can help in reducing diseases transmitted by infected blood and also can reduce the cost to the country and self. In the field of Public Health there is not much resources to be spent on marketing health for the masses.
You can take up issues like regularity of taking treatment . completing the tretment and not leaving it inbetween. etc etc
2 Every time dont repeat at the end of the program that your wife is calling you and all, think of come thing else

Dear All KBC 3 should be shut down , stop praising JEEGAN , DON was a super flop,. if srk is surving in the industry is due to KJO ’s daily interview CLIAMING he is super star , what ever relation SRK has having with KJO the world knows , srk is kal ka chokra in front of the legend AB, kjo request the management of Madame Tussauds to make SRK in the museum he literally begged them .SRK is finished . KBC3 IS SUPER FLOP

All overseas viewers who have seen Amitabh Bhachan in the first one and now are seeing SRK, are saying the same thing. Amitabh Bachan WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT HIMSELF nd he was NOT bragging about himself. He was there as the host. Here what do you see? It is obvious that the show is not about being a “crorepati” but about Shah Rukh. Cheeh…. as it is, the ratings have dropped badly overseas and now it is going to drop locally also. The producers must face up to the fact that the show is about the chance of being a “crorepati”…that is what the title is about…WAKE UP MAN!!!

please wake up! What was the last hit SRK gave? A marriage melodrama ending with typical blooded mouth called DDLJ?? Tell me one movie where he ahs shown his acting skills?? SRK is just one media lucky guy who pays to media to broadcast him, as nothing else(hismovies, acting etc) works.
Comparing him with BB, pooh, its like spitting at the sky! Don a hit! What a joke! It was a joker’s act, with SRK coupling up with two females both were taller than him! He is best at joking around in marriage dramas! He is a total flop in action, dialogue, tragedies! He is best only among Karan Johar(err eunuch), kajol, Farah khan who amongst themselves are the best Director, best Acress and best Dance Director, so they joined forces with SRK who is the self-styled best actor(he himself wont remember his last hit!)
Thank God, KBC is off, and i sincerely hope not to see him again!
