Aamir Khan turns director with ‘Taare Zameen Par’

The versatile actor of Bollywood is known for his varied roles in-front and behind the camera. Aamir Khan gets involved with his films to the core and gives his inputs to lend his own creative touch to his films. But this time, Aamir Khan will wear the cap of the director for his directorial debut, Taare Zameen Pe.

Aamir Khan’s forthcoming film, Taare Zameen Par is being co-directed by Amol Gupte and Aamir himself. The film is based on the story of a dyslexic child. The film will star Aamir himself and will take longer than the scheduled duration because Aamir’s involvement has changed the approach in the making of this special film.

Earlier, Aamir has taken initiative in many of his films in giving inputs and refining of the films like Lagaan, Mangal Pandey, Rang De Basanti etc.
