Rakesh Roshan’s next film sans Hrithik

It’s difficult for one to associate any other actor with Rakesh Roshan’s current projects than his son Hrithik Roshan. But this time around, the film-maker’s next project will have Arshad Warsi in the lead role and not Hrithik.

But the twist is that the film is being produced by Rakesh Roshan but will be directed by his assistant director Raja Sen.

The film starring Arshad Warsi is based on the story of a mad man and will also star Boman Irani, Pankaj Kapoor and Om Puri. The film will begin its shooting in mid April. Ever since Rakesh Roshan became a director it will be for the first time that he wont be directing a film produced by his production company, Filmkraft.

Hrithik Roshan could not provide dates for this film as the actor is too busy with Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Akbar Jodhaa and his home production, a sequel to Krrish, which will be directed by his father Rakesh Roshan.
