CBB Blog: Now Shilpa gets called a P*k*

It had to happen, and someone had to say it. She is Indian, so she is close enough. She has irritated the ‘Jade family’, and that gives the ‘Jade family’ authority to say whatever they want. Shilpa has been called the P word. The P word that has an A followed by a K and ends with an I. Channel 4 have shown the video in which this was said, Jack talking to Jade in bed before they went to sleep, but the word was bleeped out. I have managed to find the video of this moment on You Tube. Take a look and hear for yourself. Did he or did he not say it?

There was a huge bust up between Shilpa and Dannielle today. Danielle has been trying to pick a fight with Shilpa all day long. It all started when Shilpa decided to cook the housemates a meal this afternoon, however most of them were not appreciative. Shilpa cooked noodles, broccoli, and onions. “If we eat it now, you can’t reheat noodles,” complained an unappetised Jade. Elsewhere, Dirk said that he didn’t care for any noodles at that point. But it was Dannielle that was the most unimpressed, as she described Shilpa’s preparation process. “[She added] broccoli and then loads of onions,” she explained. “Not even just a few. I don’t like onions. I hate onions. Jade and Danielle conspired to make a show of disliking Shilpa’s seemingly inoffensive concoction. “I’m going to go ‘blurgh’,” revealed Danielle. However, the meal eventually passed with only minimal animosity, Danielle assuring the chef that the onions would not stand in her way since she could pick them out. “I can’t be bothered arguing over it,” she said. “It’s petty isn’t it?”

With Leo breaking his way out of the house, and Carole being evicted by the viewers, things have gotten a little emotional tonight. The Danielle/Shilpa tug of war heated up even more when a drunken Danielle appeared to get the wrong end of the stick. Apparently Shilpa tried to calm down Danielle when she became to lairy in front of the cameras and an argument ensued. Jade put her two-penny in also, defending the disgraced Miss Great Britain.

All housemates have been giving their take on the earlier argument, save for Dirk, who has decided not to get involved. Jermaine assured Shilpa she had done nothing wrong, advising her not to bother to state her case any further. Cleo has told Shilpa not to take it personally, putting Danielle’s behaviour down to the drink. Jo has conceded that Danielle has not portrayed herself in the best light tonight.

However, the night has brought a little fun and more flirting, again between Dirk and Shilpa. Dirk says he’d like to meet a nice woman, but all the women his age “are like Carole”. “I need to go to India and meet a nice Indian girl,” he tells Shilpa. He tells her if he was 34, and happened to be in India, he’d ask her out to dinner. Shilpa laughs and looks uncomfortable. “I think it’s time I went to bed,” she says.
